Teaching Interests
The molecular aspects of cell biology, developmental biology, and cancer biology. Including the techniques common in these fields and the methods of data analysis.

Research Interests
The Weicksel lab explores the molecular mechanisms of metazoan development, primarily how chromatin organization regulates gene expression during embryogenesis. Collaborations included projects in the fields of cancer biology and physiology.
